Introduction
Gold and copper targets are the priority focus of Elementos,
which has interests in a portfolio of six exploration properties
in three mineral provinces in two countries, Argentina and
Australia. The tenements are located in world class mineral
provinces, with developed infrastructure nearby, and attractive
investment environments.
ARGENTINA – a mineral rich and highly prospective
country
The Andes Mountains within western Argentina have
a similar geology to the neighboring mining country, Chile,
although comparatively less explored and with subsequently
greater discovery potential. Elementos' projects are located
in San Juan province at low altitudes in the Andean foothills
, with well established infrastructure and lower overheads
compared to higher Andes projects.
San Juan Province is one of the most attractive destinations
for mining and exploration in Argentina due to its suitable
geology and mineral prospectivity, strongly pro-mining policies
and rapidly developing infrastructure. The region hosts a
number of world class mining operations including Veladero
and Gualcamayo, and advanced stage development projects including
Pascua-Lama, Casposo, Los Azules, Altares and El Pachon.

Location map of the Argentine projects
Note: These mines and resources are not
assets of the company and their proximity of the company’s
projects should in no way be taken as indicative that the
company will be able to successfully develop the Manantiales
and Santa Domingo projects.
The Company has a mix of major large scale copper/gold porphyry
targets at Santo Domingo and high grade gold-silver epithermal
vein mineralisation at Manantiales.
Santo
Domingo is an exposed copper/gold/molybdenum style porphyry
system. Three major alteration zones identified with anomalous
surface mineralisation. Porphyry targets are often very large;
potentially in the range 0.5-1.0 billion tonnes of mineralisation.
Manantiales
is located within a epithermal gold district, adjoining and
immediately to the north of Casposo a gold-silver development.
Manantiales shares a similar geological and mineralisation
environment to Casposo. Rock chip sampling has identified
two main target zones with some exceptionally high gold-silver
grades.
AUSTRALIA – targeting world class and emerging
mineral provinces
Elementos is focused on the Mt Isa Inlier in Queensland
and New England Fold Belt in northern New South Wales.
The Mt Isa Inlier is one of the most significant gold and
base metal producing districts worldwide, host to many world-class
copper/gold and lead/silver/zinc orebodies, including Mt Isa,
Hilton, George Fischer, Cannington and Ernest Henry. Recent
major discoveries include Merlin and Rocklands, which prove
the continued potential of the district. The district has
established mining, transportation and processing infrastructure
in close proximity to the major regional centres of Cloncurry
and Mt Isa.
The New England Fold Belt is an emerging minerals province,
which, in the past, has been a significant production area
for gold, tin and base metals. Although previously relatively
unexplored, the area is receiving increased attention through
the application of new geological theory and exploration techniques.
