Corporate Overview

The Plan

Elementos’ vision is to create shareholder value through the exploration and discovery of economic mineral deposits, and realise this value through development.

Elementos will achieve this objective by:

1. Targeting resources in world class mineral provinces

  • Andes mountains – exploring for world class copper-gold mineral deposits; and
  • Mt Isa Inlier – richly endowed with major copper/gold/lead/zinc/silver deposits.

2. Focused on commodities with sound long term fundamentals

  • Copper and gold have attractive supply and demand fundamentals, and there are a large number of opportunities in the target mineral provinces compared to other commodities.

3. Leveraging geological expertise and experience

  • Discovering and developing low-sulphidation epithermal deposits; and
  • Monetising porphyry deposits through partnerships with majors.

4. Transacting value-adding merger and acquisition opportunities

  • Acquiring assets early in the discovery to development life cycle
  • Significant geological potential and attractively priced

The Company will undertake a systematic approach to exploration and seek to maximise in-ground expenditure as a proportion of the total budget.

The Projects

Elementos has secured projects in mineral rich, highly prospective geological locations, with developed infrastructure located nearby, and an attractive investment environment.

Argentina
San Juan is one of the most attractive destinations for mining and exploration in Argentina due to its suitable geology and mineral prospectivity. Hosts a number of world class, large scale, and low cost mining operations and advanced stage development projects including Pascua Lama, Valadero, Gualcamayo, El Pachon, Los Azules, Altares, and Casposo.

Santo Domingo comprises two mineralisation targets: (1) Yvette high-grade silver, lead, zinc and gold low-sulphidation epithermal vein target. Mineralisation identified over 2.5 kilometres of strike length and open all directions; and (2) Divisoria gold-copper porphyry target, open in all directions - porphyry targets are typically very large; potentially in the range 0.5-1.0 billion tonnes of mineralisation. On-going exploration and drilling planned to define the potential of the systems and development of an initial resource.

Manantiales is located within a high-grade epithermal gold district, adjoining and immediately to the north of Troy Resources’ high-grade gold-silver operation, Casposo. Manantiales shares a similar geological and mineralisation environment, including rock types and structures that host Casposo.

Elementos has initially successfully identified three main vein systems (Manantial, Julieta Norte and La Puerta group) and completed an initial drilling program at Manantial and Julieta Norte. A high-grade gold-silver vein system has been identified at relatively shallow depths at Manantial, and is open to the north, south and depth. Further drilling in March 2011 will aim to test the potential of the system, and drill new targets identified in the current field program.

Australia
Queensland – Millenium is situated in the world class Mt Isa Inlier, host to world class deposits including Mt Isa Copper, Ernest Henry, Century, Mt Isa Lead/Zinc, Cannington and George Fischer. More recent discoveries in the province include Merlin, Barbara and Rocklands (10 kilometres east of Millenium). The district has established mining, transportation and processing infrastructure.
Millenium contains a thick zone of cobalt mineralisation, identified through historical drilling. Exploration is focused on assessing the potential for an open cut cobalt operation, producing a high value cobalt metal with copper-gold credits.

New South Wales – Cathedral Rocks is an early-stage exploration opportunity targeting gold and base metal mineralisation. Strait’s Resources Hillgrove antinomy and gold mine is situated 25 kilometres east of Cathedral Rocks.

The People

The board and management team has a combination of technical, managerial and capital markets experience. The group has expertise in operating and exploring in Argentina and Australia, and has an extensive network of contacts and relationships.

The Directors and management previously involved in the acquisition, exploration and development of several important Argentinean projects including the Cerro Negro Epithermal Project (Andean Resources), Olaroz Lithium-Potash project, Cerro Morro, Caspiche and Don Sixto (Exeter Resources), and Pascua Lama and Valadero (Barrick).

Elementos has assembled a world class team of geologists and consultants with a proven, extensive and broad-based pool of experience in copper and gold exploration. The team’s geological experience ranges from regional target generation to development and near-mine exploration to production. The team capabilities include including coordination of early phase exploration programs through to first-pass and multi-rig drilling programs, digital resource modelling and estimation, and preparation of resource models to JORC and Canadian 43-101 level.

The Elementos team has considerable experience in geological modelling and predictive exploration techniques in the Andes, including mineral environments hosting epithermal, porphyry and IOCG style deposits. Elementos’ focus is to leverage the collective experience and technical capability to explore and develop world class deposits in the Andes.

Incorporation

Elementos Limited (“Elementos”) is an Australian-based exploration and development company, listed on the Australian Stock Exchange (ASX: ELT). High grade gold-silver and copper targets are the priority focus of Elementos, which has interests in a portfolio of four properties in three mineral provinces in two countries, Argentina and Australia.

Elementos’ success will be based on three key “Essential Elements” – the PLAN, the PROJECTS, and
the PEOPLE.
